ÖkoFEN – „Energy Box“ Save time and money
ÖkoFEN proves its innovation strength again: „The energy box“is a prefabricated heating house of approx. 15 square meters, which can be flexibly positioned outside of the building. This new complete system consists of the pellet heating „Pellematic “and the fleXILO pellet tank. This system use all advantages of a pellet heating and saves floor space beside!
The cellar is often not so large to use it as a Fitness, party or reservoir room. In a lot of buildings you have no cellar and so it´s much more difficult to build a storage room. The newest development of ÖkoFEN combines a modern heating system with with the low-priced, CO2-neutral fuel pellets, to a compact complete system. “In buildings without cellars or with terraced houses every additional area is important. The energy box is the most space-saving and most flexible form of a heating plant room”, tells the managing director Herbert Ortner, „the central heating installation saves not only place but also time! The complete plant is delivered by lorry and is ready for use in only few hours. “
The main component of the energy box is the pellet heating system PELLEMATIC. The advantages of this pellet boiler are the flexible installation, the integrated return rise for the addition of radiator, winding and under-floor heatings as well as solar plants. Also the less electrical consumption and the simple maintenance and cleaning are important features. The energy box includes the pellet storage system.
With the most natural fuel of the world „the energy box produces for “warmth for the home of one's own. Pellets are domestic, burn CO2-neutral and cost less than oil. The modern pellet heating of ÖkoFEN are comfortably and efficient in operation. „The energy box“uses the heating form of the future and the external list saves floor space.

Since then we have always continued to work on research and development of small ecological biomass combustion heating systems, and this mission is reflected in our Company name. Our primary objective as a Company has been to develop and distribute innovative heating systems using biomass as a fuel, for comfortable warmth in detached and semi-detached family homes. As well as heating systems using briquettes and wood chips, as early as 1994 we started developing fully automatic heating systems using pellets as a fuel.
Sales are made by regional sale partners to the specialized firms. Over 75% of today’s production is exported to Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain and Switzerland.
The company is owned by the founders of the firm Herbert and Elfriede Ortner. Further subsidiaries are in Austria, Italy, Germany and France.
