ECOBUILD, EARLS COURT, LONDON 2009

OKOFEN AND AUSTRIA ARE AT THE HEART OF ECOBUILD

Ecobuild is the world’s largest event dedicated to sustainable design, construction and the built environment, and is held in London over three days in March.

Organic Energy (UK) Ltd liaised with ÖkoFEN & WKO (The Austrian trade Commission in London) to promote ÖkoFEN to the UK’s construction industry professionals. The Austrian Pavilion had the largest international presence at the show, hosting twenty-two companies, of which at least five others were selling pellet boilers. ÖkoFEN’s unique selling points of a complete system and the beauty of the Energy Box attracted a lot of professional interest.

Herbert Ortner, Managing Director of ÖkoFEN Forschungs- Und Entwicklungsgmbh, was one of the main speakers at the seminar programme, Making micro renewables work, addressing the subject of Biomass; learning from the Austrian market.

Herbert and Elfriede Ortner visited the show where they had the opportunity to meet ÖkoFEN distributors from all over the UK.
