ÖkoFEN managing director Herbert Ortner was awarded with the „INNOVA clusterpreneur 2006“ on the 27.th of november 2006. The alumna prime minister of Finland Esko Aho handed out the award to Herbert Ortner during the European cluster conference in Valenca. 

For the ÖkoFEN founder and pellet pioneer is this a big decoration and compliment for his life vision.

„The up-to-date noticeable climatic change and future running out of the oil age make ecological energy more important. We see the problem of the climatic change now - and now we must undertake against it something before environmental problems and energy problems roll over", said Herbert Ortner on the occasion of the award and further, „we can solve these problems only together!"
